Researchers at MIT have devised a method that makes use of artificial intelligence to assist in determining the potential for a woman to be diagnosed with breast cancer in the future. It is able to identify a woman's high risk of developing breast cancer before the disease manifests itself, which paves the way for earlier intervention and the possibility of improved treatment outcomes.
It's very early days and only one case study, but nonetheless, very encouraging news and inspiring work by the team at MIT 👏
