Women are leading the charge in the HealthTech sector. According to a study by Rock Health, women hold 30% of executive roles in HealthTech companies, compared to just 21% in the overall tech industry.
Women-led companies in the MedTech and HealthTech industries are receiving increasing amounts of funding. A report by PitchBook found that female-founded HealthTech companies raised a record $4.4 billion in funding in 2020, up from $2.7 billion in 2019.
